AFA is a ground beef processor, BPI is the 'Pink Slime' producer

AFA is a ground beef producer which has used "Pink Slime" in its ground beef.  The major "Pink Slime" producer is Beef Products Inc (BPI).  They did temporarily suspend operations at three of their four plants.  However, the largest plant remains very much in operation and continues to churn out several hundred thousands of pound of the gunk daily and the company has launched an aggressive PR campaign to recapture lost sales.
