It states more info, the plant won't be closing post-bankruptcy.

The media attention is reducing public aware companies like Taco Bell, McDonalds, and Burger King from using the pink slime (beef buffer) created with beef trimmings treated with ammonia hydroxide (probably more steps than that they're not releasing). Expect prices to rise once more on groud beef and ground beef products at your favorite fast food places and stores, not that most of us eat from those places anyway.
