that's strange indeed, sounds pretty bad also I once had a similar issue but it wasn't so extreme it was like something like a sort of "veil" started covering my eye up, but never recall getting any "green mucus" but then again I started having eye problems you know blurry vision and stuff, but can honestly say I'm all better of any eye problems now, I found some "Magic bullets" you see, just in the nick of time too because the doc said I was actually developing a serious life threatening disease, you can read about it if you want here:
