Daily enemas after colorectal cancer

I've had this question since I began daily enemas two years ago and have yet discovered the answer. I do daily enemas due to a bowel obstruction at the reconnection site of my colon to my rectum. I have very little rectum left and therefore not much holding capacity. If I don't do an enema every day I feel like I'm sitting on a door knob or rather I feel kind of constipated. I use pure clean filtered water only (reverse osmosis). These enemas are very gentle. While sitting on a toilet I fill my colon with water twice using a water bottle and small urinary catheter, than let it pass back out naturally each time. My question is this: how disruptive is this to the good bacteria lining my colon? I take probiotics everyday, but still wonder if I'm disrupting the bacteria balance in my colon with my frequent enemas. Does anyone know the answer?
