Re: hello again

hello! thank you for this great, detailed post. i will definitely check out the links (im going to leave it for today though, because it's really late here).
as for the "muddy sclera", i dont think mine is so typical. i've seen people with darkened whites of the eyes, and mine is not like that. it looks more like the white part of a fried egg, thick and congealed, but with a yellowish tint (gross, right?). the opthalmologist indicated that it was nothing but cosmetic, and that my eyes looked great otherwise, and didnt seem like she thought it needed to be looked into further (which was kind of frustrating because i would like to know the cause of it, so i can maybe stop it from progressing). as i understand there are all sorts of things that can contribute to problems of the sclerae--sun, wind, smog--and not just diet, though im sure that too plays a significant role. i have extremely sensitive eyes and being under bright lights like in a school or shopping mall for too long will make them feel like they're burning, so maybe that's the cause--just that i have extremely sensitive eyes.
anyway, that is all totally irrelevant to this forum.
as for coffee, well okay, you've convinced me. although i think ill keep drinking a cup a day, just for the first week to help me get through it, and then ill give it up.
so thanks for all your help. much appreciated!
