Welcome back! Wondering if you were cured by now. You have a good point about most of the antifungals being absorbed before it reaches the colon. I know that I have candida just past the duodenum(upper small intestine) because of my reactions to certain foods 2-3 hrs after a meal. Candida might like to hang out just past the duodenum after the food has been nuetralized with bicarbonates.
Glad to her your doing better. I've been doing powdered undecenoic acid retention enemas this week and they seem to be helping. It's amazing that all it takes is 100mg to get results. My main side effect has been brain fog/loopiness.
Something else that I thought about is the fact that overeating might give more food to the candida in the colon. If we eat very small meals that might be less nutrients for the candida in the colon. The more food that is absorbed/completely digested before it reaches the colon the better opportunity we have to rid the candida in the colon.
When I do my enemas I think its helpful to lay flat on your back for a while to make sure that the anti-fungal gets absorbed throughout the colon. If an enema is done and you stand up too quickly the content might rush to the bottom of the colon too fast.
Do you get any side effects from the nystatin enemas?
