Re: Does salt contribute to osteoporosis?

Thanks for the responses. I ended up at the library yesterday with my kids and found both "your bodies many cries for water" and Youre not sick, you're thirsty, or something like that...and his basic guideline is 1/2 tsp of Sea Salt for every 8 8 oz. glasses of water you drink and that salt actually helps with osteoporosis. I have heard this elsewhere, that getting all 4 salts will help your bones remineralize but there is so much conflicting info everywhere, its hard to know who to listen to. i did drink a ton of water yesterday with quite a bit of salt and i am sitting here right now and am not dreadfully thirsty..i aloso cut back a lot on the peeing yesterday, awesome. Maybe I am just ridiculousy dehydrated, anyway I am going to keep this up and see if it helps. I guess if you rehydrate your organs, they in turn work better, which will also balance out your hormones...I also plan to start running again, with the AF its been hard because my energy levels are so wack.
