Re: Help for a parent of a small child with eczema

My kid had it really bad on her scalp and elbows. A gluten free diet helped with the skin condition, but it turned out to be candida overgrowth which caused other problems down the line.

When she was two I figured out that we both had a candida overgrowth from Antibiotics and tons of fruit. Candida overgrowth can cause eczema and all sorts of problems (speech delays, even autism). I'd do an eval for that as well if you guys had Antibiotics at birth, as candida is totally correctable. (Youtube search GAPS diet or body ecology.)

But in general, no sugar, no wheat/gluten, no dairy or artificial anything. Eczema is an allergy.

We also supplement with vitamin D3, trace minerals, and C with good results.
