yes i am one of the sufferers who had to put up with miserable side effects for the past five years, I thought i could trust my local doctor, unfortunately he knows nothing instead he referred me to a specialist who offered me to take accutane.

I stupidly agreed and took accutane for up to 6 months. f*** I was stupid, naive, silly,what was i thinking. I was informed about the side effects but never thought that it would be that serious, being brought up in a western culture you would assume medicine from the doctor or specialist are good never bad, I unfortunately came across with the wrong medicine, its not medicine its a drug, all drugs has side effects, and this got to be the worst.

Now lets get straight to the point, first the bad news, I got common side effects, hair thinning/loss/damage/spit ends,dryness, bones/joint pain all over(feels like its missing lubricant, keeps making popping sound), tiredness, short of breath, and lucky last ill depression. To make it even horrifying, I experience it every day!

Good news, being from an asian background, and is willing to fight to live, I heard laughter and thinking positive will keep me strong, it helped, but as 3 years went by, crossing my fingers for the side effects to go away, unfortunately I got weak and weaker. At this point I found it hard to tell my family and relatives about this, as it would be too hard to believe, it was no use telling the stupid local doctor, he is not agreeing the accutane to blame. Well f*** him he doesn't have the side effects so he wouldn't understand. 4th -5th year I am just starting to take herbal medicine to detox and repair my liver, I think if my liver is repaired, the other parts of my body should function better, secondly I took eastern therapy, chinese cupping, accupuncture to easy the aches and pain.

My recommendation, if you know you are suffering from accutane side effects, try to as soon as possible take herbal medicine to detox your whole body system, liver, instestines etc, recovery depends on the accutane period usage. if you left it too long like me it could take a few years to recover, its like long term smoking, enough said, have hope, and determination to live, its better for now, will further update my recovery in a month or two, and wish me good luck!
