My mom went out of the house today and her movements caused parts of her affected skin to "crack." She explains that the inflamed area is very dry and movement sometimes causes her wounds to open up and bleed by cracking the skin. She feels tightness not only in her chest, but the skin feels very tight as well. Parts of her skin like "bubbly," like they can snap and bleed at any moment, which happens from time to time. Can you comment about this?
She has also been experiencing a kind of breathing difficulty that she says feels different from the one she's felt a few months ago. She says that it is related to the tightness/pulling in her chest and her breathing problems stop when the oxycodone kicks in, which makes me think that it's something related to the pain. What would cause such a sensation? She describes it as something scarier than the pain itself, because at times she feels like she will not be able to get enough air.
