...I happened to notice when the almond growers announced that they would be 'heating' almonds...slightly.

...For whatever reason.



I would guess it had/has more to do with 'shelf life' than anything. The first thing that dawned on me was that they really didn't want anyone else growing the trees.


It is so sad that the food industries have so little to do with nutrition, and so much to do with profit and control...especially in these days of exploding population and destroyed growing soils.


Heck, we might even be able to give up money and use heads of lettuce, or radishes we have grown ourselves as items of trade.



I love Elizabeth May's suggestion to tax money transfers, to pay for all the world's governments. The people are broke.


Good job that hazelnuts (filberts) grow wild.


Scatter any seeds/nuts on land beside lakes. The available water will help them to grow without watering.

:D

Elsewhere, watering, at first, will raise the water table.

Everything we do will benefit our grandbabies into eternity.
