Should I shorten my "off" periods from 11 days to 4?
Okay, I've gone through a full round of chelation, and I'm almost done the second round (I am in the "off" period).
I do the 3 days on, 11 days off thing. Take ALA every 3 hours (including every 3-4 at night when otherwise sleeping), then stop taking it for 11 days.
Now, I know you're supposed to feel at least mild side effects when you're on, and when you're off. I do. I also feel ups and downs, but actually great much of the time during some of my "on" period and after the first day of my "off" period for a few days.
However, the amount of time I feel ups and downs, side effects, etc. is not that long. It's like when I'm 6 days into my "off" period, I have a mild candida flare-up, I'm not feeling as good as I am during my "on" and the first few days of my "off" period, and it's like there's no indication that mercury is even moving through my body really.
Do you think I should just cut my "off" period down significantly? Take ALA every Saturday-Monday, and rest from Tuesday-Friday? Is there reason to think this is a bad idea? I want to speed the process up if it's safe to do so. Really, I want the damn mercury out of my body and speed up my healing. So, is it a good idea to go 3 days on 4 days off?
