After the AMA staked out a claim on the word "cure" and the government started putting herbalists in jail for claiming plants can cure diseases, without first spending $5 million dollars on research to generate the data to prove it, despite thousands of years of anecdotal evidence, natural healers had no alternative but to start teaching people how to prevent diseases. Fortunately the pharmaceutical companies have not lobbied congress to pass laws making it illegal to claim disease cannot prevented, although it may be true in this day and age... Hope not. It is a safe word to use that enables people with knowledge about natural remedies to help others without going to prison for practicing medicine without a license. Tweet
