yes agree with that, they have an uncanny knack for survival and masters in disguise with their evolving stages that even escapes screening - well they have been at it for billions of years so it makes one wonder that even now in 2012 why there is still such ignorance and disbelief - 'oh we must not talk about parasites - it's a taboo subject! Yes even among some parasitology doctors, I've been to one so that was an experience to remember. As for general doctors well they can almost be excused as they get no specific training in actual parasitology, only in delusional parasitosis!

I believe if acceptance and belief was the norm amongst the medical establishment that the prevalence of parasites dwells in our society and its environment and that, means absolutely anyone can become infected with parasites, anywhere on the globe, not just the third world or high risk locations.

eggs, larvae can be transmitted from vegetation, food, animals, pets, surfaces, the ground we walk on, even the air, insects and more and not just from poor hygiene alone we would have by now, been more technically advanced in modes of inventive screening and not rely solely on false serology results leading to new tried and efficient methods of drug/injection treatment to replace the present several decades old drugs where parasite resistance is common place.
