In Portugal and Spain is it possible they too are subjected to gmo's? not sure if it has infiltrated their country yet...I think hybridization has been going on a very long time in our food chain (not just wheat, all our foods have been domesticated/hybridized) and this applies to many other countries food. Could be something to it though, anything is quite possible really.

And yes, there is mold in all grains..unfortunate but there is truth. So it could be she is highly sensitive to the molds, therefore perhaps making homemade bread might prove beneficial for her (?)
