Testosterone and estrogen
What is the deal with testosterone and estrogen.
Do they need to balance?
I.e. if you had to much testosterone would that lower estrogen, and vice version, to much estrogen would lower testosterone?
This is in a male adult by the way.
Or could you have both high estrogen and high testosterone and high estrogen at the same time, and low estrogen and low testosterone at the same time.
Also what vitamin supps can increase testosterone levels? I read on vitamin A, E and zinc - if taken at heavy dose could raise testosterone? What vits/mins could do the same for estrgoen?
And finally can you explain this to me:
http://www.diagnose-me.com/cond/C569738.html
"Recommendations and treatments for High Male Testosterone Level:
Extract Not recommended:
DIM (di-indolmethane)/I3C (Indole-3-Carbinol) Aromatase inhibitors such as DIM, I3C, and Chrysin should be avoided, as they will enhance any preexisting androgen/estrogen dominance. "
That to me reads if you have high testosterone dont take indole 3 carbinal as it will likely enhance estrogen dominance, when I though indole-3-carbonol was actually used to LOWER estrogen? So what the hell is that on about? And why is it on about estrogen dominance when its a link on about risk factors for high testosterone? Thats where i though low or high estrogen may make you prone to alos high testosterone?
Thanks
