Re: Copper Toxicity Syndrome supplements

Thanks for your reply.......though I'm feeling even more overwhelmed to here I may have Mercury problems as well.

Thank you for all the links I will look into them.

I don't know if I have Wilson's disease. Isn't it the same things as Copper Toxicity Syndrome but only worse. Kinda like adrenal exhaustion and Addison's Disease. I may be wrong. The top 6 ways to get CU toxicity are drinking water, water pipes, the pill, IUD's, adrenal exhaustion and zinc deficiency. It could be any of those.

I can take supplements for Adrenal exhaustion and I feel no better. The same with HC and Florinef. I guess I will take some vitamins and a glandular for support and detox copper and now mercury. Since I have a terrible salt craving I know Aldosterone is affected.

Actually I made a mistake. The other test that I did in 2004 was a hair analysis test by BodyBalance. It showed high copper levels again and it showed slightly evelvated Sulphur levels. I did do a Urine Toxic Metals test in 2006 by Doctor's Data and it was normal. I realize this isn't the test you used. I will consider doing that test. So 2 hair analysis tests and 1 urine test told me no mercury problems so you can see how a person gets side tracked. But I did try and detox anyway cause I felt I had the symptoms and I feel my mouth tastes like a tin can. I was using supplements/products but I never felt better so what's a person to think? I haven't really done individual minerals to treat etc. so will give it a try.

I had one doctor say my illness was all in my head. I had a so called friend who told me go have a beer and you'll be fine!

Does that mean I should do the DMSA then for the mercury? I'm going to check your links to learn more and if I'm unsure how to go about things I guess I have to buy the book. I gather DMSA is expensive.

I know Detoxamin is different but do you know if it works? Don't think I can buy it now in Canada anyway.

Not taking Vitamin C is what Dr. Wilson says who specializes in Copper Toxicity Syndrome. He says it stirs up the copper. I think I would take some as the adrenals need it but not big doses.

I've been reading on Cure Zone not to take ALA as it can increase Copper levels. So it seems there's some conflicting info.

If you can add any more thoughts I'd appreciate it.

Thanks again.
