Re: Remedy for a knife given as a "gift"

Thanks everyone for your responses! Finally with some deep and careful consideration decided to return the item not as a gift but as unsuitable goods. As she was not at home I left it unwrapped inside a bag, alongwith with a gift of good intent of my own outside the door. It Felt the correct way forward was to reverse this act with Yes love and good will instead. An earnest attempt to counteract or prevent karmic consequences too to the giver of the initial " gift" as well as to myself the reciever by responding cleanly as possible! I had just got out of the drive way before remembering to remove a card that had change in it from the bag and promptly posted it through the door! Phew!
