Ozone and clothing - no laundromat!?

I'm wondering if I can use ozone on my 100% cotton or 100% superfine wool winter clothing to remove the expected odor from prolong wear, without having to go to the laundromat.

I have to wash my wool clothing in cold water, which is nasty water full of bacteria not to mention a nasty laundromat and really despise it.

So I was thinking that if I can remove the odors with ozone bagging, remove the stains by washing spots in my sink, I can skip the laundromat for a long time or maybe indefinitely.

What do you think? Also, do the clothes need to be wet to be cleaned by ozone or should they be dry? Why does produce need to be wet to be cleaned by ozone?

sidenote:
ozone facial steamers - good for our skin but wouldn't they get ozone in our lungs and damage us??
