Correct - the problem Omega had with the 8005 was not deliberate, and they corrected it. You can read all about it within the Amazon reviews and comments as well as in their discussion groups.

I don't own an Omega, but it is definitely on my Wish List, and I would love to have the 8004 (same as the 8006, but in white).

I do know, however, that the issues with the (unnamed) Water Ionizer is negligence, and that to me is inexcusable.

I don't eat cereals anymore, but my family members do. I sent my sister this video last night. She is very defensive and skeptical in general, but last night she sent me a one sentence reply, "I put a magnet on my cereal and nothing happened. It's not true."
