Re: CT Scan VS MRI VS Ultrasound VS Thermography for detecting tapeworm
the machines (any of these I would bet) can find it for sure, but people who interpret those findings WOULD NOT SEE anything
it happened to me - with the movement all over my body i've asked the doctor (almost 4 years ago) to send me to the whole body scan (MRI or CT, can't remember now but apparently both would show what's in there) - during the examination the technician who was operating the machine did see on the computer screen that something is moving, he did see it on my back and buttocks area (exactly where i felt the mosts movement back then) and even came up to the machine to see me to make sure that I'm "fixed" in it properly and did see that there's no chance i could've been moving
he told me that there is a movement on the computer screen and that's why he had to come to make sure it's not me moving; I asked him if he can write it in the report but he said that somebody else would be interpreting those screens/prints or whatever they call it
the person who was doing the reading wrote in the report that the patient was moving therefore the print/screen (or whatever) is not readable
back then I just didn't have time to fight this and have them to write a proper report, saying exactly what happened - that the print/screen showed the movement - it would take to find the technician and have him to write something but then who knows if he would've done that - they all are affraid of the truth they might see because they are kept in denial and lack of knowledge (the whole medical field, only some exceptions do exists I hope)
so really you can try to have those scans but i bet you NOBODY would see anything there - whatever you DO NOT WANT TO SEE YOU DON'T, that's what they go by - the same does apply for the labs that are supposed to find the parasitc stuff
