Re: Fungi as parasitic entity

Hi Line-up. Yes, as a matter-of-fact, the spores which are a direct descendent from my target parasite are the only ones able to make and create biofilms. Sometimes they use the cell they originally infected as a scaffolding and build a nest-like structure which contains several morphisms, for eg. some will attempt chains, others attempt basic hyphae, while others produce tight colonies.
Keep in mind, this is in vitro, and does not directly involve these stages in the body.
I have also grown a powdery substance on plate. It can be difficult to tell what is and what is not genetically related, but most forms have similarities.
