Re: Repair or Pull #15 root canal tooth w/cracked crown

I may not have been clear. The #2 tooth I just had pulled had just had the crown replaced 8 months prior. There was a Amalgam tattoo at the gum line of that tooth. I was told that the root canal was failing (it was leaking) and that is why the tooth had to be pulled. The 8 month old crown was in great shape when we pulled it.

I am 59 and those teeth I lost might have been my oldest root canals. #2 even had silver points!

My current issue is my #15 tooth. It must be very old as well. It is a root canal tooth with a cracked crown and it needs replacing or to be pulled. I was considering having it pulled but just can't bring myself to go through with that and I now have an appointment to re-crown it next week.

It is so stressful and so hard to decide. I must just trust in God to lead, guide and protect me because I sure can't figure this out!
