Re: Fucoidan Use in the Treatement of Cancer

What would the presence of cancer do to white blood cell count?Would it raise or lower the count?

Depends on the type of cancer.  Some cancers are actually white blood cell cancers and can raise white blood cell counts.  Others can damage the bone marrow lowering white blood cell counts.  And chemotherapy drugs and radiation can also damage the bone marrow leading to lowered white blood cell counts as well as other blood cell counts.
