Re: ALA before meals?
Maybe it's a bit different for each person, since you suggest that if my body is "strong", I might be able to handle a different protocol.
Right now, where I'm at, I actually feel mostly good each day. The only real annoying symptom I have is "hunger crashes", where if I take too long before I eat (a decent amount of food), I start to feel weak, begin to have difficulty concentrating, etc. When I was chelating, I'd have days where I'd sometimes feel fantastic and could go for a very long time without having to eat, but as it is now, every weekday I need to eat dinner by no later than 8pm, and every weekend, I need to have an afternoon snack.
That's the only symptom I really have these days, a massive improvement from how I felt a year ago or even half a year ago. I can even eat sugary foods and not experience a candida flare-up, so my candida is under control.
What do you feel like day-by-day, when not chelating? Did you address other health issues before tackling the mercury problem?
