Re: Causes of diabetes
I had terrible hypoglycemia for years. Three years ago I went on the specific carb diet. This was a grain and dairy free diet for me. I improved in many areas including the hypoglycemia. This past summer I began having difficulty with low blood
Sugar reactions again. I was eating a fair bit of fruit, maple syrup and loads of vegetables. I had also added in raw homemade kefir.
However for the hypoglycemia to be completely eliminated I had to go on a high fat/moderate protein and low carb diet. No fruit, maple sugar, honey, starchy vegetables. I have been on this diet for the past 10 weeks. I generally do not eat more than 50g of carbs per day. I haven't had a low blood
Sugar reaction in almost 3 weeks.
I have also been
parasite cleansing for over 2 years. Although I have killed many
parasites I believe that the modern diet has been the cause of most of my problems. The
parasites imho are just a symptom of not eating and living properly.
While I do credit Clark for exposing the
parasite problem I have difficulty with many of her claims.
I really follow the work of Weston Price. There are many others who are healing people with this type of diet. Optimal diet, Atkins, Gary Taubes, DR. Su etc.
