I have used Mebendazole many times especially in the past few months and there are no side effects...except for maybe some slight irritation. But in my case this could also be due to the fact that I have a cup of weal black coffee with my first meal to help me get some energy. Then latter I take Alkaid and Cat's claw to soothe things.
So I do not find mebendazole difficult to take.
Having said that...it hasn't erradicated the entamoeba histolytica.
And like everything else...it works for a while and then does not seem to work as well or at all.
But I found this to be a problem after I had my cat scan with contrast dye in 2004. Since then the amoeba has become so virulent that the usual drugs that always gave me relief stop working altogether....tinidazole, paromomycin, teytacycline...
