They actually got a camping permit, it's good until January...? I think.
It seems that adverse events, such as pepper-spraying and rubber-bulleting peaceful protestors, really drive this movement. Since occupy Reno is doing it "right", not a lot of press, really. They're also "occupying" an off the beaten path area, no threat to business as usual.
I got the feeling that some of the folks there are homeless.
I also got the feeling that this time will form some of the best memories of their lives. Sitting around a fire, talking. Doesn't get much better than that~
