Re: First fecal transplant last night

It seems the woman in your link had overgrowth of harmful bacteria and no ecoli, lactobacillus, or bifido bacterium. She also completely 2 weeks of Antibiotics prior to her fecal transplant. Her feces also smelled sour from fermentation. Did you do a round of Antibiotics before doing your transplant?

"I was deficient in a whole range of vitamins which came as no surprise given that my gut had not worked properly in years. Bioscreen poo tests showed no detectable Ecoli, lactobacillus or bifido bacterium and an overgrowth of strep, staph, clostridium and prevotella.

On 4 April 2011 I embarked on 10 days of poo infusions. The first infusion occurs in conjunction with a colonoscopy and is implanted into an empty bowel after a day’s fasting and bowel cleansing following two weeks on anti-biotics."

It looks like she also only reported a 20% recovery after a month, and in a post 2 months later she said "However be aware it will take a good 3 months to see the full result. So if you start going backwards get another infusion in quickly. And whatever you do, don't introduce any problematic foods until after the 3 month mark. That was my mistake."

I didn't see any other post she made after 3 months. Did you correspond with her personally to find out more about her progress?
