Regardless of whether mucoid plaque is a myth or not, there are definitely toxins in the intestinal tract and in my experience taking psyllium and Bentonite was a very helpful cleanse. Both of these products are quite harsh but I think using it for a cleanse over a short period of time should be okay for most people. Not sure if cellulose powder would have the same effect as psyllium husk. In theory it should work and I'm really not a big fan of psyllium husk so might be worth a try. Tweet
