Re: birth control and adrenal fatigue
I was on birth control on and off for 25 years and then went to a copper IUD which ended up causing me to have copper overload, I have been detoxing successfully from a copper overload. I imagine that when you go off the pill you are talking about the emotional ups and downs which I had huge problems with as well. I believe if I had been with the naturopath I'm with now I wouldn't have had quite the problem. I am using a combo estrogen/progestrone cream compounded for me based on my saliva tests and what the naturopath felt was a good combination. Perhaps your naturopath can do the same thing. It has made a big difference for me. Just wish I had found her 6 years ago. It has been a long road.
I'm on my way to recovery I believe. I have carefully been following a copper detox regemin along with using 3000mg of vitamin C, 1000 mg panothenic acid,
25 mg. of zinc, B12 sublingual drops, bi-est/pogestronerone lipoderm cream,
whey protein drink daily, 10 mg of hydrocortizone and 400 mg of magnessium
nightly. I also have had to disconnect from people that are energy suc***s with me. I also don't watch movies or TV shows that make me edgy and use up my cortisol. I try to not overexercise and I eat regular nutritious meals. I have tried to let go of grudges and people that I feel are too intense including some family members and mentoring situations. I've also had to learn to be more direct about my feelings and also to delegate more chores to family members. It has only taken me 54 years and a severe case of adrenal fatigue to learn this. Good Luck and DONT GIVE UP
