Re: Still having anxiety. =(

I had Mirena for almost the full 5 years, 3 weeks before my 5 years I ended up in the Hospital with a Panic attack. I've never had a panic attack before in my life, I had noticed here and there after i got Mirena that I seemed to develop anxiety, I got Mirena put in at the age of 15 after I had my daughter. Before Mirena I never had anxiety... I was captian of my cheerleading team... competitive dancer ect. But 3 weeks before my 5 years I was all out panic attack mode in the hospital i mean like totally freaking out. ever since than i have had anxiety pretty much full blown but not actual panic attacks but I can't seem to leave the house with out starting to not feel good and going to bed is very difficult. After the hospital released me with Valiumn on hand i was out for almost 3 days but after that I knew i couldn't just take it every day for the rest of my life so i just stopped. but the anxiety is still here.. I went to a theripist on a Wednesday one week after the hospital and they prescribed me anti anxiety meds. but i have not taken them considering i don't even like to take tylenol for a headache. I'm not big on meds. The Theripist is the one that told me the Mirena could be causing it. I got My Mirena removed last Friday, its been 5 days and i still have anxiety i'm so ready for this to go away i really hope it does. its very difficult to deal with anxiety on a day to day basis and i want to be "normal" again.
