Re: Elevated liver enzymes- need advice

Had a blood test yesterday and dr called to advise that liver enzymes are border line high. He will probably put me on fat diet if retest does not improve in a month. I would hate to stop taking coc oil for obvious reasons.

Liver enzymes can go up for a variety of reasons, including some common over the counter medications like ibuprofen.  For this reason it is recommended that if there is a high reading that doctors wait 6 months, then recheck the enzymes.  If enzymes remain chronically high then a thorough history needs to be taken to look for potential causes and other tests will be run to also look for potential causes.  A single reading of elevated enzymes is nothing really to worry about, especially when only mildly elevated.

I no longer drink alcohol and don't take any drugs. I do take assortment of vitamins, probiotics and 3 or 4 tbls of coc oil. Also eat meat.

If I have major die off the toxins usually settle in my
feet so I know that my liver is inefficient at the least.

I've never done
coffee enema or liver detox. Would this or anything else help relieve my condition? Thanks.

Coffee enemas are hard on the adrenal glands due to the caffeine, which still affects the body the same no matter how it is administered to the body.  Bitters are the most effective way to actually cleansing the liver as long as you still have a gallbladder:

Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day when using bitters.

Some of the best herbs for supporting the liver include schisandra berry,  licorice root, bupleurum and milk thistle seed.
