Re: Debunking oil pulling
Here are a few thoughts on what could be going on...
The mouth is very closely related to the blood stream as realized by the medical field in the last few years; for example, in the case of heart surgery many doctors require patients to be approved and released by a dentist for surgery...if oral problems are identified they must be corrected before surgery can take place because the mouth and it's condition impacts the heart's health. In people with periodontitis, chewing and toothbrushing release bacteria (found in plaque) into the bloodstream which can lead to heart attacks.
In addition, we know the blood stream is closely related to our mouths because when tarter builds up and is removed our gums bleed...
With these thoughts in mind, I'd like to propose these concepts: when our mouths are readily displaying bleeding issues the oil in these areas extracts toxins from the bloodstream which it comes in contact with a bit like the way oil in a car cleans the engine.
Also, by proactively cleansing our mouths of toxic bacteria we minimize the amount of unhealthy substances being put into the blood stream.
Concerning health supplements, such as oil of oregano it is suggested to put drops under the tongue allowing it to rest 30 seconds before swallowing for immediate impact on the bloodstream allowing it to work more quickly...so it stands to reason...if we swish coconut oil within our entire mouth there is immediate connection with the bloodstream. Because coconut oil is an antioxidant it kills bad bacteria, fungus, so on and so forth...
