Elemental Iodine

I am under the impression, elemental/molecular Iodine is more anti cancer than potassium/sodium/iodide, about fifty percent more anti cancer according to trials using rats.
Anyhoo, I take about two hundred fifty mgs of charged Lugols daily, and considering switching to taking only elemental iodine.
Are there any unforseen problems, just taking molecular Iodine and not iodide? It seems the body has a lot of potassium and sodium ions for the molecular Iodine to hook up with and make its own iodide, so why bother? I make and charge my own cayce elemental iodine.
I found it will not take a charge using water as the liquid, as water will not hold a charge for more than thirty minutes, so I have to use ethyl alcohol. I run it through the machine twice to give it a super charge, if you will.It does have an ugly taste, but I mix it with dr. pepper and it slides down like a margarita on a hot day. david lubbock tx.
I have leukemia, and thinking it might kill off some cancer cells.
