Soy,chickens and ants are smarter then humans

Well here is the story... after getting our chickens... I have been running all over looking for feed without soy.. last time we raised chickens we had no problem for it was not in everything and of course did not know of the health hazards of soy.... anyway, they were eating this START AND GROW... FOR CHICKENS it is made with the only product being soy oil ... so figured bad but not as bad as the soy protein.. Tho' it made their poop stink like crazy.. ( which had not occurred with the last chickens we raised ...) had never smelled such a mess... yuk...

so looked all over checking on non soy products.. having people say they did not have it... and finding out the ones that say they had no soy products ended up being made with soy tho' not on the package... ect.... so finally went to just feeding them seeds and alfalfa for protein... or what they call SCRATCH with no soy oil.. added.. yes, some companies... even add that to the scratch... (which is an all grain feed )...
so anyway found some and added things from the kitchen that I had for a year and not used.. you know Rice .. and good cereal grains to cook for breakfast .. made up quite a nice combination... after 3 weeks of feeding this to them their poop stopped stinking... and then I finally found a place that would order the Organic feed for chickens from Colorado.... YEA... they are eating it like starved children...
however...
here is the deal... I had a small container in the chicken coop that I had forgotten of that START AND GROW FEED WITH SOY OIL.... they had not touched it sense I had refilled it and began feeding them grains .. yes they had been eating it before. I had to refill it almost every other day... and I had forgotten about it ... so when I went in the other day .. I noticed it was still there on the floor of the coop.... it is small and long and narrow so had just over looked it.. and usually on a whole do not put food in there anyway.. just did it when I first got them.. incase they forgot where the food pan was out side.. lol ... ya, chickens aren't the brightest things... and with the food being the same and no choice they were eating it .. and I had been replacing it with feed almost every other day ... so.. anyway.... I noticed it and thought well they certainly have not wanted to eat that junk now that they have had good food..
.... because it has been a month sense I refilled it and it was still full....

so I took it and dumped it on a ant hill..being in the dessert we always have ant hills here... . thinking to my self, there eat that .... and good riddance... wonder if it will give you a belly ache...

Well, you are not going to believe this... those ants do not want to eat it... in fact they have been moving it 8- 9 feet away from their ant hill !!! ... and we notice that it is on two sides only... the sides where if it rains the feed that they move will not be contaminating the mound again.. by washing down onto it. the ant mound is on kinda a slope... so it is only on two sides.. that are safe sides for the mound.... really too funny !!

EVEN ANTS ARE SMARTER THEN HUMANS... !!
Have you ever heard of an ant not eating something other creatures will eat... ?? But remember when given a choice the chickens WOULD NOT EAT IT EITHER !!!! they left it and ate the good stuff. So I guess they are pretty smart too.

SO , we decided to do an experiment... and have gotten some dog food with soy products in it.. ...some bread with soy products in it ... some breakfast cereal with Sugar and of course SOY .. ( wonder if they will Over look the soy to get the sugar... you know like they do to us humans... ! ) SLIDE IT INTO OUR FOODS AND FORCE US TO EAT IT...
do you know that not even cows or pigs will not eat soy, if it is not treated with lye and crushed and mixed into feed ... so they do not have a choice but to eat it.. !! and yes, that is how it is processed so you will eat it too. It cannot be eaten unless it is treated first... look it up !
I will keep you posted on the out come of this experiment.. !!

Or better yet.. try the experiment your selves and see what happens.. try foods without Sugar if possible to have a fair experiment. or just plain old Soy dried and crushed so they can handle it.
I wish you well and good luck.

oh and had to add if you are looking for soy free feed..

they are just now starting to making Organic soy free feed. Our chickens love it. I have always put out Alfalfa for more protein and they eat what they want.
