Re: High ESR and CRP! James need further advice please....

I underwent an abdomen ultrasound today. The result is that I have gallbladder stones of size 5mm and 3mm.

Findings as reported below:

"The gallblader is well filled and contains two mobile calculi of 5mm and 3 mm diameter. No wall thickening or surrounding fluid. Bile ducts are not dilated."  "The liver size is normal. Echogenicity is largely within normal limits however two 4mm diameter echogenic foci with shadowing are present in segment 7, ? Calcification. No associated mass." "The pancreas, spleen and kidneys are intact. No free fluid in the upper abdomen."

Should I take the digestive bitters along with the Live- R-ight formula that you customized for me?

That would help.  The magnesium malate would also be a good idea just in case there is calcification, which is very likely for that size.  Other things that can help increase bile production to help dissolve the stones are fiber and lecithin granules.

Really sorry for incorrect wordings in my previous message. Actually my stomach does not ache but it is the intestines that ache. The slippery elm and licorice heals my intestines. But when I eat green chilies, high saponin herbs like jiaogulan, yucca root it hurts. The upper abdominal pain has been identified is due to the gallstones.

The only reason that saponins should cause pain would be in the case of a bleed.  The saponins hemolyze red blood cells they come in to contact with leading to the production of tissue irritating uric acid crystals.  These are sharp and will irritate the bleed area.  I recommend you get tested for occult blood in the stool.  If present then more testing should be done including capsule camera endoscopy if you can get it done there.

I believe the lower abdomen pain is in my colon( both left and right side).

If you are sure then a regular colonoscopy should be able to spot any bleeding, which could be from ulceration, tears or internal hemorrhoids.

I strongly believe I killed my flora by using grapefruit seed extract (GSE), garlic and by taking digestive enzymes on an empty stomach before breakfast and dinner.

The synthetic antiseptic added to GSE is the most harmful to the flora.

I know  taking digestive enzymes reduces the body's enzyme production but did I damage my intestines by taking digestive enzymes on an empty stomach?

No, the enzymes would not harm the intestines directly. The biggest risk of enzyme therapy is that the enzymes can digest the flora if taken together and even if taken separately certain enzymes such as cellulase, hemicellulase and pectinase can starve the flora while producing more sugar.  This combination could not only lead to the conversion of Candida to its dangerous fungal form, but also promote its proliferation.

Please see the below description of the garlic capsules I had. 60 capsules costed me $100.

Stabilized allicin is the result of a patented process which produces purified, living-source, completely stable allicin-for the first time in history. Allicin is not garlic - but the fully potent, active factor in concentrated form, never before available. It has broad spectrum, anti-infective properties coupled with strong, immune boosting and immunomodulating capacity. This makes stabilized allicin a highly significant antimicrobial clinical agent, especially in today’s world of widespread infections and with the creation of new forms of multi drug resistant super bugs that have emerged due to the overuse of traditional antibiotics.

At last, genuine stabilized allicin provides controlled, gentle, yet exquisitely through biofilm degradation and destruction, critical to overcoming many chronic illnesses, often recalcitrant to many other means. Many doctors have seen miracles for chronic acne, sinusitis, intestinal dysbiosis, prostate bacterial infections, MRSA, H-Pylori, Parasites, Flukes, Pseudomonas, and severe biofilm congestion in many other organs and glands.

There is a lot of debate over whether garlic actually kills the flora or not.  Some sources say yes, while others say no.  Of course when they alter the garlic to increase its antibacterial properties this would increase the likelihood that it will kill the flora.  Personally I do not fool with garlic.  There are so many herbs out there that are so much more effective than garlic.  So I feel garlic should go on the list of over hyped herbs along with echinacea, cayenne and goldenseal to name a few.

Also keep in mind that garlic also contains saponins that you are having problems with.  It is the saponins in garlic that help garlic to lower cholesterol by binding dietary and bile cholesterols.

James, I took another blood test yesterday. Everything has come normal. The most confusing thing is that the ESR and CRP has come to normal in two weeks.

ESR came down from 77 to 12.

CRP came down from 63.7 to <1.0.

The fact is before 2 weeks I had a really bad sinus infection and I wasn't taking kefir or licorice at the time. But once I started taking kefir and licorice the infection cleared up in 2 days.

My question is can the licorice bring down the CRP factor so quickly.

Yes.  The CRP and ESR are both inflammatory markers.  Licorice root, as long as it is not the weaker DGL form, contains a strong steroidal anti-inflammatory compound.  DGL licorice is just licorice root with this steroidal compound removed.

The doctor is really suprised by the way the ESR has gone down. Did the kefir help in bringning the ESR down?

Possibly, but it would depend on the source(s) inflammation that was causing the rise in these markers.  If the infection was the cause or part of the cause then the kefir could have also contributed by eliminating the infection.

Really really sorry for mentioning my colon pain as stomach pain.

No problem.

The pain is present all the time. It would start as dull ache and would progess to severe pain.

e.g if I keep eating green chillies or high saponin herbs the pain would aggrevate. The tea made of 1 tsp slippery elm and 1/2 tsp licorice tea helps, however cant help if I keep eating green chilies on top of it.

It still sounds like there is some type of bleed, and the progression of pain is from the movement of waste in to the colon.  Since so many foods contain saponins and other potential irritants the movement of these compounds in to the colon will irritate the tissues.  Then once expelled the pain would be reduced until the next cycle.

As you advised I will continue working on my Thyroid and gallbladder.

I believe the intestinal infection would be taken care by your liver right formula.  Awaiting to recieve my order.

It went out several days ago Priority mail, which I checked and it should only be a week or so to Australia.  I did not send the total to you yet because the post office overcharged on the shipping and I am trying to get that straightened out.  I sent the order in a flat rate envelope to save you some money and the person at the post office was new and charged regular Priority, not flat rate.  So I wrote an e-mail to the US Postal Service to see if they will correct the problem.

You are one in a billion. I wouldn't have survived if I had not known you James.

Hip Hip Hooray for JamesSmile!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks.
