Re: Why do P&B shakes make me itchy and symptomatic?

About 20 years ago a friend was doing the P& B shake-cleanse and getting all that black tire stuff out--got me to try it. I had an ileocecal issue back then, but wasn't quite aware of it.(Actually, I think I have some sort of kink, because I routinely have one BM and then another, about five minutes later. The second one being thinner. There is a 'stop' or break, between the two.) The P&B bound me up and gave me a lot of pain, so I immediately quit. Could have been I wasn't drinking enough water...Don't know.
Recently I tried the spoonful of bentonite slurry in the AM.
(lots of water) It usually makes me feel a bit tired for the day. Weighted. I was just doing it as a prophylactic.

Good reminder about the IF being a better choice. Will the IF 'straighten out' a kinked colon? Is this a silly question?

thanks. C.
