Re: Help! Glaucoma is out of control now & meds made me sick with side effects!

I don't know if you've seen my other posts or not..I know I saw somewhere where you can do a search by username (altho I don't remember where or how).

Anyway, I've had glaucoma for 25 years. It was under control by using only one drug.
Then I used an eyelash product (for only 3 weeks) and heard on the radio that it was pulled by the FDA because it raised eye pressure. The following week I saw my doctor for my scheduled visit anyway. My pressures were through the roof.
We did the SLT surgery (surgery to make holes for drainage), but it did NOT work.
The last three years has been trying to find drugs that will work.
We had a combination, finally, of THREE meds that worked but I discontinued #3 in August because I couldn't stand how sick I was getting.
NONE of my medications were beta-blockers as I can't do them.
In SEPT, I went to see one of the leading specialists in the country. She does NOT recommend surgery, nor does she feel it's a good option for my type of glaucoma which is the most difficult to treat.

I take my BP every morning, and it fluctuates between 112/72 and 125/85.

The good news is, the Eyebright has been helping!
