Re: Oprah Winfrey: Jesus Did Not Come To Die On The Cross

The article is about her false Biblical teachings....not her salvation. Her salvation is between she and God. We all fall short of the glory of God in some way or another. If one thinks they have no need of scripture, or believe that they do not need correction or instruction in righteousness, then this post has little meaning for them.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalms 119:105

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. John 5:39

...the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 2 Timothy 3:15,16

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer,he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. James 1:21-25

Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes. Deuteronomy 11:18

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thous mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thous shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thous shalt have good success. Joshua 1:8

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 1 Peter 1:23

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. Acts 20:32

You state: "If Jesus died a natural death do you think people as a whole have less faith in God, and if so, why?"

Did the Bible say He died a natural death?

Do you believe people as a whole have "any" faith in God if Jesus did not sacrifice Himself to pay for our sins?

If Jesus was only a prophet or even as some christians say...we are all made in God's image, so we are all sons/daughters of the Most High....then would it be true that even you and I could make a statement that we came into this world to die a natural death for all to be saved?
