Re: Oprah Winfrey: Jesus Did Not Come To Die On The Cross
You have spun this debate on top of which you are referring muslims in your reply as if I were so.
I am not a muslim, you must ask a muslim for their opinion.
Yes I used a muslim's W/S for examples but if you wish there are many other W/Ss that have similar views do you wish for me to show another example of what people think?
In fact most of that I showed you I could have written myself, it is NOT a muslim point of view per se.
So I will remind you of what I answered you at the outset below.
Now if you don't find it comfortable to answer, say so.
And by the way I dont seek redemption for I don't believe such a thing exists.
Heaven and hell belongs to certain religious denominations.
I belong to no religion because my spirituality is mine, it does not belong to others to mess around with and be told by them that I must behave or suffer the consequences.
I live by God's Law which is love and that being would not wish to punish others that do not obey Gods Law.
If you believe in a hell then you must take a long look at yourself madam for it does not go along with the Law of God.
For your reminder of my original post on this subject:-
You quoted .......
[[[ Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him.
-John 3:36 ]]]
My reply to you ......
Refreshed, are you saying that because Oprah does not believe Jesus died on the cross in turn mean that she does not believe in him?
If Jesus did not die on the cross that would turn Christianity upside down because it hinges on that concept doesn't it?
If Jesus died a natural death do you think people as a whole have less faith in God, and if so, why?
Do you think that Jesus dying for our sins is the cornerstone of Christianity?
Straight questions deserve straight answers.
