Re: My iodine journey begins today.
Hi;
most of your symptoms is within the long list of hypo T; the hoarse voice, loss of hair, loss of sex-drive and energy, brain fog, low body temperature etc.
GERD can be helped by a load of vit B; it is worth a try; vit B complex 100 mg twice a day for a week or two + 50 mg of zinc (once daily, before food, taken separate from magnesium supplements) + some extra B12 (Now food has a good liquid one that are easily digested)
"B Vitamin Treatments
A study published in the "Journal of Pineal Research" by Ricardo de Souza Pereira in 2006 found that vitamin B may be used as an alternative treatment for GERD symptoms. Pereira tested omeprazole, the medication sold under the brand name Prilosec, against a supplement containing melatonin, l-tryptophan, methionine, betaine and the B vitamins B6, folic acid and vitamin B12. The results found that 100 percent of the group that took the supplement containing vitamin B saw their GERD symptoms disappear completely within 40 days. Only 65 percent of the group taking omeprazole reported the same effect."

(when I was pregnant, vit B cured my acid reflux in a week, but not until i upped to 100 mg)
And dont wait with the salt! The watercure-doc cured Gerd and other stomach problems / pain with water and salt alone.

Iodine & co will need some time to reverse your hypo T condition, but it sure did with mine. Also check out adrenal fatigue, that is closely related to your condition.
