Ask how long they hold specimen and if they examine for ALL molds/fungi.

Tons of labs claim they culture. My best advise is to do your due diligence and determine which meet the standards necessary.

If you're going with stool you might consider going with PCR testing as well. This way you cover all bases. Stool is not the easiest type of specimen with respect to ability to identify SPECIFIC overgrowths. Very hit or miss. Think about it. Swabs (sinus, lung, ear), scrapings, sputum samples are much more reliable and precise.
