I have been symptom free for several months, but I’m still on a maintenance plan because I did exactly what you did the first time around. That means as soon as I felt the symptoms leave, I started eating a few apples, crackers, peanut butter, and half a sweet potato now and then, and eventually my symptoms returned worse than before the diet.
Now I’m still taking oil of oregano, coconut oil, and an 80-billion count of Renew Life Ultimate Flora probiotic. I’m also still on the diet. You can live without those carbs.
