I am due to have dental surgery in a few days and as I have a mitral valve prolapse (heart murmur) I have to take a large dose of Antibiotics just prior to surgery. It is done intravenously instead of tablets so it bypasses the stomach. Dr Mercola (www.mercola.com) suggests that taking the Antibiotics are probably unnecessary but I'm not informed enough to make that decision. I have been on anti candida protocol for 4 months and it has been a very slow process (I know I still haven't gotten rid of it) so any suggestions as to how to support the system after the surgery. I make my own kefir and cultured vegetables and also take probiotics. I guess if I load up on them as soon as possible after the surgery and hope it will do the job so I'm not back to square one.
By the way - this forum is a treasure trove of info. Picking up lots of little hints and tips (thanks helmax, I think, for the tip about Colloidal Silver for irritated eyes. Second day and it is working a treat :-) Just waiting on nasal spray.)
