Re: Sugar!?!?!
I have struggled with certain symptoms for about 6-7 years now. I will get indigestion often. Lactose intolerant since birth. Developed an allergy/sensitivity to wheat and gluten. I have these two yeast/fungal rashes on my inner upper thigh that come and go. Used to be more clear headed, sharper thinking and now I'm all foggy and can easily fall victim to anxiety. I've lost dexterity in my fingers, hands, and wrists. Noticeable because I am guitar player. Used to be a gym rat and was very strong. Could bench 330lbs pretty easily. Now I'm lucky to push 160.
So enough with that. I tried so many diets. Indigestion improved with avoiding the wheat and gluten. 2 weeks ago I made a conscious effort to have as little of sugar as possible. 3 days into it I noticed a really big difference. Clearer mind, itching decreased (kind of expected that one) my strength increased quite a bit, my sleep improved, could feel a slight increase in breathing quality, skin improved a bit and just felt all around better.
What is the verdict on this? Is there a sugar allergy to blame here? A fungal infection feeding off of the sugar that is causing all of this? I know sugar isn't good for you but it kind of seems like it's causing a lot of problems.
One possibility is you could be either borderline diabetic or have insulin resistance. This could lead to neuropathy and decreased circulation that can decrease dexterity. It would be a good idea to have this checked out to be on the safe side. Otherwise fungal infections are another possibility. If diabetic then chromium polynicotinate and magnesium malate would be helpful. If fungal then cultured foods and prebiotics should be the primary focus.
