Longer than 40 day fast for Overweight Women?
I have been reading on a website called Shelton: Fasting that I saw here.
I would like to do a very long fast. I have successfully done two weeklong fasts to determine if I am able to complete the fasts.
I tried one with vitamins and water and the second one with just water only.
I concluded I am not hungry after day 4 with just water only. Reading on here I find many people are able to fast with just water and there is no concern for taking vitamins. Sheltons Fasting website states vitamin deficiency doesn't happen in normal fasts.
Now I want to head into a very long fast. I am not sure if I should do a continuous one with water only or if I should break it up.
I have seen many folks do 40 day fasts and that is what I am aiming for my goal.
I am not obese, just overweight and I want my omentum to be reduced drastically.
I do not want to take a multivitamin because it made me hungry on my first 7 day fast everyday.
Am I going to be fine with just water only if I go beyond 30 days?
Anyone have research on the effects of fasting on the omentum?
Also - can someone point me to the refeeding part that discusses the initial gain in weight and then the stabilization. I fully understand the refeeding is essential to health. Why does one put on an average of 10-15
pounds with refeeding? How does one stabilize their caloric intake to fix this issue?
