Re: harvest dandelions?

I am in Oregon. I have a large crop of dandelions in my yard and want to harvest them. I think they r perrenials? So then from what I read on a post about harvesting it sounds like fall is when I can harvest.

I am new to using herbs and such and figure that I should use them if they r in my yard. I have dandelion tea and drink it fairly often so I figure I should make my own.
