I believe the name of "The Truth in Medicine" forum demonstrates, either subconsciously or quite deliberately, a tint in the philosophy of it's moderator - Hveragathi. He puts undue faith in the modern medical system, that is, in the lab studies and journals produced by highly profitable pharmaceutical corporations.
Quickly (and often rudely) dismissed are the experiences of individuals who are generously sharing their personal testimony.
Remember - one person is an anecdote, many individuals constitute an observational study. Either way, both can point toward the truth. Unprofitable healing modalities tend to start out very humbly, often discovered through personal experience, observation, or anecdotes.
