Re: Hi & your thoughts

Thanks for the reply

Yes i have no doubt that im CNS sympathetic dominant. For years i had palpitations or what i termed "sensitization" for weeks at a time. Until recently however, despite slipping into adrenal fatigue a few years back, this daily arousal was largely controlled by reducing stimulants and allergens. Nevertheles as you say my body or hypothalmus is in stress mode even if Im not consciously at least.

I could probalbly list my own causes for this but suffice to say its a case of long term meditation/ SR and good nutrition to resolve it amongst other things. Ive come to a point where I an see that if I dont make it a daily thing relaxing the body I will stay hard-wired towards stress and over arousal.

Today Im back in the land of the living after a good sleep. It took a week of calc/mag/zinc and daily meditation to calm the body down enough to sleep.

I intend to keep this protocal up indefinitely

Interestingly enough I read an article yesterday on insomnia and it really applied to me. Many times people who take 5HTP/trythophan and other sleep aids still cant sleep (as occured with me). The article said that if you were low on B6, Vit D then, zinc then stand alone trythophan would be largely ineffective for a sub set of people. It also mentioned that calming the body when chronically low on sertotonin and these nutrients would be difficult to say the least. Even skilled relaxation/meditation would be fighting a hard battle. (of course doing the meditation/SR is better than not when hyper aroused)

This all comes back to a holistic approach whereby many aspects of health impact upon another!
